Engineering Manager - Client Engineering, Trading Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engineering Manager - Client Engineering, Trading Platform based in India.

This is a player-coach leadership role overseeing the engineering team responsible for customer-facing web, mobile, and product experiences. You will establish the people-management and delivery practices needed to support a rapidly scaling engineering organization. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with ownership of hiring, onboarding, performance, development, and team growth. You will guide delivery across a real-time web trading terminal, website and product applications, mobile experiences, and QA. You will also introduce strong engineering standards around code reviews, documentation, architecture, testing, and AI-assisted development. Working closely with backend and platform teams, you will remove delivery blockers and strengthen cross-functional execution. The role is based in Chennai and requires an in-person presence, with opportunities to help shape a growing international engineering team.
